Aww...honey so sweet..took care of me while i was 'resting'...i was actually drunk... -.-... my supervisor and colleagues pressured me to drink....i went for one drink, was about to go home see my honey but met my supervisor and afew others...boss pulled me back to the pub...went in, gobbled down a few and got drunk at 7+pm...*embarrassed... havent been drinking for so long and suddenly drank so much beer and champange..so bloated just like a puffer fish.. and it was the time i burpped most in my life..

Apparently i was craving for macdonalds and the oily food made me feel worst..i was 'delivered' home and hit the bed straight...i felt happy though..it was a good relaxation...i slept throughout for 6 hrs..and woke at half an hour ago for a shower...hahahaaha....wat a friday...but my poor honey has to take care of me...*felt someone kissed my fatty cheeks...thanks honey...u were so sweet and 'entertained' with my drunk words and actions...looking forward to long weekend..

i have started with my new career, learning the best out of it...pretty nice and capable colleagues...in my process team, i am the only asian chick....haa...

this yr is a pretty challenging yr for me, having to adjust to changes, environment and seeing people that i get really along well with leaving perth...for example, i met a taiwan group who came over to our company for 3 weeks work..clicked really well with them...and i guessed i may not have a chance to see them again...unless i go taipei...which wun be happening at least in the coming 6 yrs...

& yep, as honey said, we will be getting a house on our own...ahhh...wat will my mum think...hmm...hahahaha....always give my mum shocking news over the phone everytime i called her...

and from june onwards, i will be working 9 days per fornight...9 standard hrs + 1 hr overtime just to get a free monday off every 2 weeks...well, basically have to work from 7am - 530pm..guess i will be a zombie after work...

work & life balance: relaxation after work...working hours should only be the time i am thinking of work...other den that........it's showtime!!!! funtime!!! yeay...

Friday Night with my Baby Resting

Hey pplzzz!!! Both of us haven't posted in a while. And I haven't post in like 3 months I think. My baby is resting, it's Friday night and I got nothing else better to do; so no better time to post!!!

What's been happening? Not much really. It's been pretty much all work at the moment. It's been 4 months since I started and I finished my probation preriod 1 month ago. I have learnt so much since then. I love working there. The company treats its employees pretty nice (benefits, social events and raises;) ), nice building to work in and some really nice people to work with (with exception of course).

It's ashame as well because 2 of the nicest people in the process engineering group has left/is about to leave. The one that left last Friday just finished his graduate program. He helped me even though he had no responsibility to the project I'm doing. Overall he just an easy going guy. He's going to Canada (for dunno how long) but he's going to join Colt which is an engineering company which WorleyParsons recently took over; so he hasn't left us completely.

The other guy I worked with him (Dave) because I'm taking over some of his stuff when he leaves. He's also easy going and he has around 9 yrs experience behind him. He makes engineering easy to understand and keeps things simple. He's going to Woodside, so he won't be far. But unlikely to come back.

Then there is one especially which the whole process department seem to have something against. He is one of the most arrogant bastard I have ever met. One of the reasons Dave left is because of him. He thinks process engineering is the centre of the universe and other disciplines are nothing compared to process. He's the type of person that gives process engineers a bad label around the engineering world (which is true - whereby there is a feeling that there is process engineering and then there is the rest - which I believe is a label which has to be changed).

Anyways, enough about work. It's Friday night!!! Oh yeah...both of us are trying to get a house!!! Looking for one that's around $400,000. We got the pre-approval but we need to make a firm decision on which direction we need to take. We want a new house but the question being asked now is whether we should buy a land and construct a house from scratch. Benefit is that we will save alot of money (around 50,000). But negative side is that we have to wait 6-12 months. There is also uncertainity of mortgage repayment whether we pay mortgage and rent at the same time (which will kill us) or pay a bit monthly and rent on top (which is alright). It's a week bv week proposition at the moment and time will tell. So don't be shocked if you find out he have a house already. Hahahahaha

Anyways, took care of my baby and now she is sound asleep. I love my baby and ill do anything for her. I think i better check on her. Anyways hope to see everyone soon!!!

2nd Last Day at METS - lunching out

It's near my last day at METS, so treated my colleagues at Samari's cafe and Restaurant @ Victoria Ave. Ordered 6 dishes, each coz average 14 bucks. Not that good, dont think will even go there again. Rather go Love and Care Restaurant.
These people are the ones i m closest with, us, being half of the whole technical team.
man in blue - ignatius djimantoro (holy, kind, likes to laugh and baby old uncle)
behind me - anh vuong (always busy,hardworking and only eats gd food)
furthest right - andrew adam (my METS' neighbour, crappy, weird and egypiant)
oldest man - majid (has a seeshar at home, curtin phd student, has afew gfs, iran-ian)
closest right - paine (family in melbourne, independent, dun like spicy food, ex monash uni student)

tats the food, doesnt look too appetising uh? apparently the website makes the place sounds like there's alot of variety food (average) and food jus taste normal to me. can have better food somewhere else.

i know wat is my current status! but somehow they got a mistake, found out something else, but they need to re-confirm it. so meanwhile i just want to confirm with you whether you applied for that on my behalf previously or not. SO WHY THE HELL ARE YOU SO ANGRY WHEN I AM TALKING TO YOU NICELY!?!?!?!? SO WAT IF U R A ******? u think i am stupid? but i think you cant communicate properly. dun think you are that great. i am not paying you to scold me or watever!

Easter Albany Trip 21march - 23 march Tots

it was a wonderful trip with someone special in my life in a beautiful place. Even thou we have went on trip b4 to mandurah, but this trip has definitely more sight-seeing places.

we went to places in albany:
- tree top walk
- the gap and natural bridge (we went in the morning. an accident happened in the later afternoon, one man died)
- salmon hole (salmons not in season yet)
- whale world (nothing)
- brig amity (passed by the big ship)
- albany city
- mt clarence
- middleton beach
- wind farm
- candy shop
- souvenir shop

on the way back, we took the longer drive and went to:
- monkey rock (no monkey no rock)
- diamond tree (so tall and unsafe to climb)
- marlston viewing tower (bunbury)
- Gnomesville (where clem is so excited abit seeing little dwarf toys -.-)

it is also so much better den margaret river...there wun probably be another trip anytime, coz we need to save up for our future...

Popcorn & Ice Cream!

*TAAA DAAA!!! it's our own popcorn maker!!! well..usually perth cinemas sell salty popcorn..which i personally dun like it..i prefer sweet ones...!

well...we tried making our own popcorns with this little popcorn cart...get fresh popcorns..and den we pour melted honey + butter + sprinkle of water over it..let it cool and..

EAT IT while watching dvd at home! hahhaa....

This place is called "cold rock ice creamery", situated in fremantle...it has about 20+ flavours of ice cream where u can have ur own toppings such as: kit kat, malteses, m&ms, gummy bears, nerds, peanut butter, fruit toppings, tim tams, crunchy, skittles, mars, picnic, snickers, flake etc...u can find most of the chocolates here...

as seen in the photo, u can choose any ice cream and topping to go with, and the ice cream many will mix everything for u...it's alright..u can even do it at home...we went there with sujin and chad..partly also jus wanna do sth different besides bubble tea, icy ice -.- thanks sujin for ur noodle!!!!!

Bored in office, so jus searched for cakes since i had a craving for it.
Wedding cakes!! how amazing are they actually created! why do wedding cakes have afew cakes staked on top of another??
In oyster bar, i saw one freaking ugly wedding cake. They used GREEN CUPCAKES, staked together in a circle, more below and 1 on top...freaking disgusting and cheapo. I rather have one large cake over stacks of green cupcakes..

guess the least well liked one is strawberry..and the rest are pretty much depends on personal taste...

A Romantic 6 Mths Anniversary Dinner at CRestaurant

It was the best restaurant i ever went before...right atmosphere, right person for a proposal....hahahha...nah...it wasnt...too bad..it's our 6 mths anniversary! honey surprised me with this thou i guessed it and he claims it's not...hahaa
Comments about this restaurant:
- 360degree rotating!
- Piano playing...some songs makes the ambience feel even more romantic
- Toilet pretty high class (fury chair, toilet seat liquid cleaner, chewable toothbrush for $2)
remember it turns clockwise...so u need to find ur own seat when u r out of the toilet as the restaurant spins!
-Gd service...we tip him off with 20...coz we dun have any 5 or 10 bucks..he's nice..helped us changed to a window seat for desserts.
-Really busy..fully booked out
-Entrees and Desserts are nice and unique
-Cutleries were cleaned, unlike Oyster bar
-Mint sweet at counter tastes better than some restaurants
-Mostly old people
-Romantic, classy and Overview scenery of perth...

1st Course; Entree -TASTE PLATE OF AUSTRALIAN DELICACY, comes with salmon paste and smoke salmon. Wondering wats the yellow thing? it's a tiny little tomato! Crocodile ball! Tats wat it's called. hahaha. pretty gd. And Kangaroo Meat..it's liek medium well..so fresh and nice!!!

1st Course; Entree - GNOCCHI, A C Restaurant Favourite! Potato & spinach with a napolitana & gorgonzola cream sauce, roasted tomatoes
Comment: Very nice...taste like pasta actually! thumbs up!

BEEF FILLET - Char grilled beef fillet, parmentiere potato, bush tomato chutney, roasted shallots, field mushrooms and jus

3rd course;Dessert - BAKED ALASKA with Almond sponge, cointreau ice cream, swiss meringue with cream anglaise and orange glaze
Comment: The waiter lighted the liquor...and created blue flames, poured it on top of the dessert...too bad cant take the photo on time...and pour some sauce on top...

Comment - small serving, creme bulee has crispy top caramel layer, if u like almond u will like the biscuit...but not for me...strawberries jam like...freshly made...

A $2 Chewable Toothbrush sold in the toilet!!!! New invention (to me)!!! ahaaha...

We were amazed by this little invention so decided to buy it!! looks pretty cute uh...it comes with a mint chewable sweet as well...

Working at Transfield Worley & Updates

Well...it's been around 3 weeks since I posted and since that time alot has happened!!! First starting my job. Second, Cal leaving for 1 week (which is somewhat unbareable and I miss her so much). Third, Cal's parents came. Forth, Graduation. I'll start off by what everyone has been wanting to find out - how did it go with the future parent-in-laws???

Well...to put it simple. It went pretty good. I got along with her parents no problems. I got along with her mum more (which is a very good thing). Her dad is quieter and doesn't speak english, so it was more difficult. I enjoyed the times we spent together like going to Freo and fruit picking and the dinners. Furthermore, my parents got along with her parents great (that's what I think anyways); and apparently looks like they are going to catch up when they go to Singapore in late March=S So...therefore, all good signs!!! Hahahahaha

As everyone knows, I started my engineering job at Transfield Worley on the 4th. I have to admit that it's been slow going. I only have done 2 assignments and they are relatively easy with guidance. But it will pick up soon, with a new assignment handed to me on this coming Monday and me taking over the responsibility of another graduate who has been working on a specific project for a year now.

Funny thing on the first day is that I found out my cubicle is right next to the boss-.- Furthermore, my cubicle is sorta at a 'T-junction' and people constantly walk pass there. So therefore...NO PRIVACY!!! It doesn't really help when you are assigned lack of work to do as well. On the positive side, getting to know the place pretty well. Really nice people there (most of them anyways) and it is where I wanted to work. So Im very happy. Help also that I dont have to wake up 6am in the morning to get to work. Can wake up 715 and still reach by 8. And finally, I got my own business card!!! Really cool. Makes you really feel you are really someone important=P Anyways to those I will see soon, I'll give them out=P Anyways...until next time...you'll probably hear from Cal more often. Hahahahaha

It was a 1 day trip to Margaret river...supposed to be 2 actually, but freaking hot to sleep in the apartment and i missed clement, furthermore next day is Valentine day, so drove myself and parents all the way back to perth at 730pm. Reached Perth at 11pm. along the way are dark forest and roads. sth adventurous.

Hamelin Bay: i tot there were stingrays (website said), so i went. Bullshit..there's not a single stingray. haha..but the waters were really light blue in color(shallow)...

Went to Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse - to view the meeting pt of Southern and Indian Ocean. Stupid renovation works!!! we couldnt go up the lighthouse.

Events that occur in your life can hit you and wake you up to realize that you aren’t as independent as you think you are. That event occurred today. Cal left for an 8 day holiday today to Singapore and left an empty hole in my heart.

It should be an interesting 3 weeks coming up with up with and without Cal by my side.
Cal leaving for Singapore for 8 days. It’ll be the longest time we were separated since we got together.
Will be starting “my career” as a graduate process engineer with Transfield Worley on Monday. Excited but I’m sure I’ll be nervous on the day.
Cal’s parents will be coming over. Don’t know how they will react. Must be in my best behaviour. *sweats
Graduation. Already knew I will graduate even before my exams, but this will be once in a life time experience that should be cherished and remembered.
Half year anniversary. Should be a special moment. I shall see what I should plan for the day/night ;)
Cal starting “her career” as a graduate process engineer. It’s not what she wanted but it’s a beginning to a long career in the industry; and I’m sure she will get what she wants soon.

Some of these events I will have to handle by myself. But I’ll know that I’ll have the loving support from my family and especially from Cal when I need it, even though she is in Singapore.

She has been such a huge part of my life and once she left, my life stalled. Nearly every decision I have made in the past 3-4 months has her input in it. Whether it is what we do and where we go each day, buying groceries and financial decisions; we make decisions based on what the other thinks. We did everything together even before we moved in together. I already miss her the instant she disappeared from my sight…

Around 830pm, we walked to kingspark ... The crowds......we stood there with mosquito repellant sprayed on our arms and legs and....watched the fireworks

Finally, after 2+mths of sweaty and tiring work, we quit!!!! haaa....omg...this is the most tiring job i have ever done man... think i quite like waitressing, and not on pass. Pass is a position sort of like controlling the food orders to customers. One have to watch the timing, and make sure mains have to be away after entrees, correct food out etc...So stressed when theres alot of food orders...haaa..luckily on my last nite i am actually serving customers on the 40s table...

The 2 notti chefs as usual, disturbed me on my last day..2 of dem suffocated me...me being like a piece of meat between 2 of bread..and dave even tried to glad wrap me..hahaa..but he's still nice, cooked us a very gd staff meal - pasta...woo...rather special.

Well...i got a total tips of 40 bucks yest nite..hahaha...Some from #41(Suj,Chad&Andrews')...#40 and #43 were 2 couples sitting on each table.. Apparently #40 were really nice, and the lady even exchanged numbers with me and asked to keep in contact..and since she's going spore ard the same time as me, we could meet up..Is she lesbian?? hahaha...anyways she's pretty hot i reckon..(for her age..late 20s?)..I couldnt really understand wat the guy on #43 was talking...but he was like talking some language and smile smile smile smile at me..me too..smile smile smile...and he tipped me off...haaa...

Probably the stuff we will miss about Oyster bar is 'some ppl' there, bar tending (clement), making coffees, and when some staff jus goes crazy and funny...

Cottesole beach outing

Someday Somewhere Somehow 5 of us decided to go to the beach...There's me, clem, chad, andrew and sujin (photographer).... and yes..i did 'steal' the photo from sujin's blog...but jus typed in a few words...hahaha

Sujin, gd job...took the starjumps photos for us...and made us jump several times as well..hahaa..too bad ur feet was injured and couldnt get wet.

Anyways it was a fun day..and i went partially deaf after tat day...coz the waves were so strong till the water pushes all my ear wax (accumulated) deeep deeep into somewhere in my ear tubes....sounds gross?? yeaaa....

I couldnt hear properly for 1+ week...was tat bad...and put alot of ear drops but jus doesnt help until one fine day...

i tried digging my ears with the cotton bud...and it got stucked in my ear!!!! clem wanted to bring me to hospital. but i did a minor surgery on my own.... i use the opposite end of a needle and tried to drag the cotton head out.. after about 10 min, i managed to get the cotton head out and i could hear as normal after tat...

and i live happily ever after....

Last Day at Restaurant from Hell

It's 21st of January and approxiamately 2 days from now, I'll be saying goodbye to some great people, a Bitch and couple of Managers/Owners which doesn't know how to run a restaurant properly and treat its employees which will keep them in the long term.

Cal and I were planning to work through the Australia Day long weekend but in the past 2 days when we worked, we came to an agreement that we don't have the mental and physical capacity of go through 2 days of hard labour. There was one incident which happened on Sunday which sealed the deal for us.

We were late 30min for work on Sunday because the day before we worked till 1:30am in the morning and just didn't have the physical energy to get there on time. Instead of the owner/manager (Anothey) letting us explain why we were late. The first instance we entered the door he yelled at us for being late. Later he proceeded to say to me and another employee (who also worked till 1:30am - he worked for 17.5hrs the day before and i worked for 13.5hrs)..."You guys did a great job around Christmas and New Years; but after one mistake today, you undid all the good work you did...". So that was the point in which Cal and I won't be giving him any respect and will give no notice in us resigning.

Should be interesting how they handle it's operations without us there. On Sunday, Cal was on the pass (which is responsible for distribution of food to all customers at the place) and I was the barman. Two important positions which they were missing. On the same day, a friend of us and colleague, Jess, also couldn't handle it and quit. Also another colleague of ours and very good friend, Jonathan is also considering quitting. They could potential lose 4 very experienced and important people in less than a week, which leaves a massive hole for Australia Day and 1-2 weeks after. But Cal and I show no sympathy for them and especially for Anothey show no respect for him as a person and as a manager/owner in how he runs the place and how he treats his employees.

Our plan on Thursday is to show no respect to one specific colleague we hate (Stacey) and take our sweet sweet time. Hopefully I'll be at the bar one last time and make some really good cocktails. For all friends who read this, Thursday is the last opportunity to see us work at the Oyster Bar and for us to serve you guys!!! So hope to see you guys there....

It has been a while since I posted (because Cal been very lor sor now a days...Hahahahaha). Anyways,not much has happened since last time Cal posted a week or so ago. Been working most of the time, although cutting back working from 5 days a week to 4 days a week. Just couldn't handle 5 days of 10+hr shifts. Only 2 weeks left before Cal & I leave that "place".

But we might go back to work on weekends just to pay our weekly rent and our full time job as our savings. Might work Sundays. Good thing is that it's only a bit busy around lunch time and the evening is dead quiet while getting paid weekend rates. Last night the kitchen closed at 8:30pm!!! We rejected any customers coming after that time (even though there were only 2 couples coming after that time). There was only a total of around 10 tables the whole night with maximum 5 people in 1 table and most 3's and 2's. Easiest night of work I have ever done. We had more stuff than tables of customers, so most of the time we took our sweet time in doing things. Eventually went home at 9:30 which is the earliest I have ever gone off work (other than the time I cut myself and went to the hosipital).

Hopefully during the weekdays in the final 2 weeks I'll be taking over the bar. Had the first real taste on Thursday afternoon and night as I was incharge of drinks the whole day and night. Best part of being in the restaurant is making drinks or coffees because it's something that the customer can enjoy from your own creation (that's if you make it properly). From that day, had a good experience of making cocktails all by myself (which I got to admit, I make a really good Tolberone - consist mostly of honey, choc sauce and baileys). And I really like Mojito which is 4 shots of vodka, lime juice, mint leaves and ice and using the "shaker" technique to make.

Right now, once me and Cal leave there will be a losing a couple of experienced people(even though we been working there only 7 weeks, more than 4 weeks there is considered a long; with people getting tired of the conditions there). Cal is considered one of the most important has she just moved up and take care of sections of the restaurant and she did a very good job as she got $30 tips the other night. Will be very bitter sweet when we leave...

That's pretty much how it is right now...All work and no play. Hopefully will get better though. Outline of today's activities:
1. Woke up at 8.
2. Tidied and rearranging stuff for apartment till 1030.
3. Showered and left apartment by 11 to get my resume.
4. 9/10 way to Cal's place to get my resume, realised we won't make it in time for work if we continue getting my stuff, so turned back and went to work.
5. Arrive at Oyster Bar to drop Cal off for work at 12.
6. Arrived at my work in Claremont Showgrounds at 12:20.
7. Worked till 6 and went to have a quick dinner.
8. Left aparment at 6:50 to Harbour Town to get my work clothes (shoes and shirt)
9. Went to City at 8 to look at pants (Didn't find any).
10. Left City at 8:40 and arrive back to my original home at 9:10.
11. Now typing blog.
12. Leaving at 11 to pick up Cal from work and back to our apartment to shower and sleep.

Tomorrow's Plans
1. Wake up at 8:30
2. Shower and breakfast and leave for shopping around 9:30-10.
3. Drop Cal at work at 12.
4. More shopping if I haven't found my pants.
5. Hopefully will have time to go to the gym!!!

Lots to do with little time. Have moved all of the neccessary stuff to my apartment already. Cal will finish moving all her stuff on Monday. Not sure when will be housewarming...but will keep it informal I think. however, as u may or may not know, i hate cats. so throughout the game, there was this *meow meow* sound effect which i find it abit turn off. hahaa. but its still gd overall, especially watching something which both of us actually enjoyed!

and........i got take away CIAO ITALIA! aw...wat 'gd service' that clem provide or has always provide me with...*winks*..oh yea...the cheerleaders were hot...omg...sexy but and dance moves...*drools*...cant get enuff either...hahaha...

well, today is my 3rd day of work..so tired...........work is sometimes enjoyable when working along the nice beach, with some hot chicks running ard in their bikinis, and my manager tony crapping with me. i was provided with free food, but not including oysters..aww...only salads, fish and chips, pastas, free breakfast on weekends coz they have weekend morning buffet. also, free flow of NON ALCOHOLIC drinks. well, but i had half a glass of red wine on my first day of work. went abit high and hopped into my honey's car.*groped him. hahahaa.

took so much water constantly from the bar like the toilet's being flushed everyday. lemon lime bitters is nice......but sux..i have got 5 blisters coz of the new stupid idiotic sickening freaking shoes. burst them onto clem's face! nah..i dint. his face is too wonderful for me to spoil it. but still, i love plucking his facial hair..*wow...

i guessed i m becoming so lor sor like clem, bad influence. and, hes influencing me with afew of his habits like

1. teeth brushing posture & brushing teeth only after breakfast

2. weet bixs with honey and milk

3. chewing gum after dinner

4. baby burps

5. sick minded

time to bath.....never been clean at work...

Busy...Busy...Busy...

Clem here...Been so busy lately. And a bit exhausted as well. Just started my book packing job today at Claremont Showgrounds. Funny thing the surpervisor and manager of the place quit. I was suppose to report to him today and he wasn't there. It's a very unorganised operation...so I'm not surprised he quit. I might even quit. Hahahahaha. But real work really starts Monday, so we will how things go. In the meantime, I got offered a job at the Oyster Bar thanks to my baby (Thanks baby!!! xoxoxo). So I might even work with Cal during the weekend.

Anyways, when im not working any free time I have is spent mostly at finding an apartment. It not easy with like 10 other couples competing for 1 apartment. But I guess will keep trying. Also trying to sort out Cal's PR whenever I have time also. Other times I'll be at the gym. Hahahahhaha. Never thought I would be spending my last holiday before I start working like this...but I wouldn't want it any other way to get my baby to stay here...

Cal: Today is the 1st day of our exam (sux), start of our combined blog (winks) and 3 mths anniversary! Thanks honey for giving me 3 bouquets of roses..hahah..and shitting with me last nite...so touched...hahahha...it was sweet thou... Well, may this blog be filled with sweet memories of you and me, and a place where i can express my feelings to you when you might be busy working in future... *yeaaahhh

Clem: Biggest point that must be outlined is that I shitted with Cal (No further questions about this please...) hahahahaha. Anyways its been a wonderful 3 months and I wouldn't want to change a thing. Although it's still early days, I know our journey will be together and last forever.

Anyways, can't celebrate the anniversary tonight, but planning something on Saturday though;) Matt and Vinod knows what it is and my baby kept on trying to found out what the surprise is. Wait till Saturday baby!!! Hahahahaha.

Also going to be a busy couple of months coming up for both of us. Cal is working in the Oyster Bar (On the Beach) in Freo. While I got a job as book packer in Woodridge Bookshop (You know the bookshop that we buy books in primary school???). After that I'll start my career as process engineer at Transfield Worley in the city. That's what I always wanted, to be in the oil and gas industry. Life couldn''t be better with me being with Cal atm. Love you Baby!!! Catch up with everyone after exams...
